I am an artist and live event & wedding painter based in Calgary, Canada, behind the Cool Art Chick brand.
I create paintings in real-time as events unfold and also accept commission work.
Live art is a unique form of entertainment that is perfect for any occasion, including weddings, anniversaries,
birthday parties, and corporate events.
Best of all, you'll have a unique piece of art to display for generations to come.
My style focuses on photorealism while capturing the emotions of the moment. ​​​​​

I started painting at a very young age and attended one of the top art schools in Ukraine before completing my design school and law degrees. I then realized that my true passion lies in painting, which I am much better at!

It all started with small school art projects, portraits of my family and friends, small commission paintings, murals, and other requests from people in my hometown.

I got into teaching in Canada. Soon, I realized that my teaching skills extend beyond the classroom; they have the power to bring joy to people’s lives.
A few years ago my friend suggested that I paint weddings, and I decided to give it a try. I absolutely loved it, so much so that I decided to take a leap of faith and build my business as a live wedding and event painter!
Now, I am fortunate to create live paintings at various events, but I still enjoy commissioned works in my art studio.​​
